It all started with a family holiday in the early 80’s when my Fathers 2.5 Ford Consul blew its head gasket. I don’t think he was too upset and saw it as something to do! We started to strip the heads off the V6, purchased the parts and repaired it. To this day, I have no idea why he even had the tools required to do this job while on holiday but definitely got me hooked on the mechanics of cars!

Without a second thought at 14, I opted to do my work experience in a workshop that specialised in MG, after 7  years of thoroughly enjoying my time here, the opportunity came up to join the esteemed Brian Marelli and his team in 1991, here I stayed until the sad Bristol Cars Liquidation in 2020, acquiring more 35 years of having the experience of working on prestigious cars we admire as pieces of Great British engineering.

The enjoyment I’ve had over the years and in particular the knowledge gained in Bristol, having the advantage of key staff at the factory to learn from, many of whom I’m proud to have regular contact with, the specialist tools and access to parts has led me to continue with the brand and other classics to set up our own workshop in Maidenhead, with the added bonus of the 'Bristol World' famous Brian Marelli on hand for support.
